I accepted the BW (Black&White) Photo Challenge tagged by my friend, Jomar Tito. In this photo challenge, those who were nominated has the choice to accept or to not accept the challenge. If the person accepts the challenge, he or she will have to post a black & white photo for 5 days and tag/nominate another person (different person everyday).
Since I do not have time to take new photos, I decided to check my external drive for my B&W photos. I choose this for the first day.
This was taken from my dad's province, Batangas. Batangas is known for beaches. Whenever we are in his province, we always goes to the beach. Most of the beach resorts there are not as good looking as the ones in Boracay. Their set ups are very provincial so you really have that rural feel.
I was walking along the beach when I saw this mini shop of Halo-Halo. Halo-halo in the Philippines is a Filipino treat which contains shaved ice, evaporated milk and various ingredients like gulaman, jackfruit, nata de coco, etc. The mini shop was closed when I took this picture.
This picture just shows what kind of living some Filipinos have. This reflects the kind of lifestyle the rural community such as Batangas has. Simple and sustainable.
Since it's hard to tag here, I would just nominate whoever reads this.
You can choose to join or not. But I'd love it if you do.
Leave your post below if you joined so I can view your photos.
A 26-year old beach bum who loves pasta & shrimps. Hanging out with people is one of her pleasures in life. Marketing or self-help book shelves are the first thing she looks for in a bookstore. Her ideal Friday night would be with a book & coffee while her favorite shopping destination would be bazaar or thrift stores.
I have been contributing to Trip Advisor the different experiences I had with the restaurants, attractions or hotels I've been to. You may click this badge to take you to my profile.
